We are seeking a candidate with Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements to join our team! Our work week consists of 4 – 10-hour days of local deliveries only no long-haul overnight deliveries. You will be responsible for safely operating a box truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

Truck Driver Job Responsibilities
- Drive and operate trucks.
- Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
- Pre-inspect truck.
- Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
- Load and unload cargo.
- Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes always.
- Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Maintains driver log according to government regulations. Maintains mileage and TMT records as required.
Work Hours & Benefits
Start times vary but on average start around 7:00 am. Up to 14-hour days. Some overnights are required but will be pre-coordinated in advance. Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays.
- Company Drivers receive a $100.00 Bonus per week for one year.

Truck Driver Skills and Qualifications
- Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge
- Pallet jack experience required; forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
- Able to pass random drug tests
- Clean driving record
- No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years
- Listening and verbal communication skills
- Dependability
Education, Experience, and Age Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CDL – Class A or Class B or Class C
- Certificate from an accredited CDL school
- 21 years or older
- At least six months of driving experience

- Operates trucks and trailers to and from job sites and rock pits.
- Transports tools and other construction equipment to and from construction sites.
- Fill out daily paperwork.
- Inspects and fuels vehicles prior to the beginning shift.
- Communicate any damage or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of trucking operations.
- Comply with ODOT requirements
- Ability to follow instructions.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Two to three years of related experience and/or training are required.
Requirements

- Must be able to operate trucks in all weather conditions and terrains.
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving history.
- Pre-Employment background checks and drug screens are required as well as random drug screens as well.
